About Us
Apex Professional University (APU) is a statutory university established by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh vide Act 07 of 2013 and recognised by the UGC, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, New Delhi u/s 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956, as a State Private University. Apex Professional University is empowered to award degrees specified by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956, and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
The university is offering UG and PG programs in the areas of law & forensic sciences, education & liberal arts, management & technology, pharmacy, nursing & paramedical sciences, naturopathy & yogic science, architecture and planning. The Ph.D., D.Sc. and D.Litt. programs are offered in selected disciplines. The university has approval from various statutory regulatory bodies (BCI, CoA, NCTE, PCI, and APNC) for programs in respective disciplines.
Apex Professional University (APU) is a multidisciplinary education and research university envisioned by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, designed to offer a holistic and multidisciplinary education experience. The primary objective of APU is to enhance the quality of education to the highest global standards, which are comparable to ancient institutions such as Nalanda and Taxila. APU will promote interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research on all aspects of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and update and disseminate IKS knowledge for further innovations and societal applications. Additionally, we plan to disseminate these findings globally by establishing a Centre of Excellence focused on yogic sciences, Indian psychology, Vastu Shastra, Indic sociology, and the Indian Knowledge Systems.

Admission Guidelines
There are Three options available for submission of the application form: (a) entirely online (b) download forms online and submit at prescribed address (c) buy form for Application Collection Center and submit at the prescribed address. To complete the online application process candidates need to register with name, mobile number and email ID and fill the online application form, upload latest photo & important documents and submit the form with an online payment.
Admission Process
- To enroll in the Apex Professional University using email ID, Register yourself by verifying Mobile Number with OTP.
- Complete the Detailed Admission Form and mention the score obtained in the National Tests like CUET / NEET / CLAT / GATE etc.
- Pay the Application Processing Fee Rs. 999/- (non- refundable) via Credit/Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking to complete your Admission Form.
- Upload eligibility documents. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you'll receive Provisional Admission confirmation by email.
- The uploaded documents shall be verified by the University at the time of Registration in order to confirm the admission and get the Registration Card.
Before filling the online application form, the candidates have to be ready with the below given documentations and need to upload a below documents in the application form:
- A valid email id which should be active till the end of the admission process.
- A valid and active mobile number.
- Scanned copy of your Photograph as per the specifications.
- Class 10th and 12th Marksheet for Bachelor Degree Programme or Class 10th, 12th Marksheet and Bachelor Degree for Master Degree Programme
- Credit Card/ Debit card to pay the online application fee or APU Coupon.

North East Scholarship
In recognition of the outstanding talent of our North East students, APU offers a range of scholarships designed to attract and reward the best students. You must submit your application online for Scholarship & Talent Reward Entrance Test (STaRT). Your scholarship eligibility will be accessed on a case-to-case basis and you will be intimated if you are selected.
Post Matric Scholarship
The Post Matric Scholarship scheme is a Centrally Sponsored scheme implemented by State Government and Union Territory Administrations. 100% Central assistance over and above the committed liability of the State Governments/UTs Admin from the Government of India. The State Government and UT admin to which the applicant belongs awards the scholarship.
