Candidates who have completed a BAMS course or MBBS from a recognized university are eligible for MD or MS in Ayurveda. The duration of these courses is the UG course BAMS is a 5.5-year course including six months internship. for MD/MS in Ayurveda is a 3-year course and a diploma in Ayurveda medicine is a 2-year program. Candidates completing the Ayurveda course have a vast opportunity. The employment areas after an Ayurveda course are Ayurveda specialty centers (Panchakarma, Ksharsutra, Netra), Ayurvedic clinics, National Ayush Mission, Academic institutions, Drug manufacturing, Research institutes, Government/ private hospitals, National Rural Health Mission, Ayurvedic resort, Medical tourism.
