Course
Entomology deals with the study of insects with relationship to humans and its effect on the environment. Man since epoch has a deeper connection with the land and the species existing in nature. Insects play a major role in agriculture and this study of its population with implications in agriculture is coined as Agricultural Entomology. This program is an integrated study of applied ecology in understanding the dynamics involved in plant protection and the population of insects.
Duration : 3-5 Years
Eligibility : Post Graduates in entomology or equivalent qualification from recognized universities are required for Doctoral degree / Ph. D. Courses. Candidates are selected to these courses on the basis of marks obtained in the written entrance examination.
