Take your interest in audio, music and sound to the next level and gain the technical expertise that will enable you to produce high-quality audio solutions. With this programme, students will gain skills in the use of machinery and equipment required to record, mix, and reproduce sound with the aim of becoming proficient with various types of recording media, including digital multitrack recorders and workstations, mechanical (analog) tape, and computer knowledge. Live Sound Engineers control the sound at live events to produce the perfect blend of instruments and vocals. All instruments and vocals are different and have a distinct sound. A live sound engineer makes sure the sound can be heard with the same clarity in architecturally complex venues as it is heard in venues that have excellent acoustics. Live sound engineering is more than just plugging in some mics and amplifiers, and turning a few knobs. It involves an understanding of acoustical engineering as well as creative talent to work with musicians to give them the desired sound. Every venue comes with its own challenges but a live sound engineer’s job is to play with acoustics and do justice to the musical performance. Live sound engineering courses are designed to equip you with skills that will prepare you for working in the fast-paced sound industry. Our course will provide you with hands-on training and get you ready to work in the field with artists.

Eligibility
- Pass in 10+2 / Equivalent with minimum of five subjects.
- Wherever grading system or any other system is followed for evaluating the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination, the applicant should ensure that a certificate indicating the percentage obtained has to be submitted through the University / Board last studied. Applicants passing GCE / O / A level examination should have passed 4 + 3 or 5 + 2 subjects at the O & A level respectively.
- The examination approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) only will be considered by the Garden City University, others who have passed the examination which is not in the AIU approved list shall obtain equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.
