M.Tech. Bioinformatics is a postgraduate Bioinformatics is the application of statistics and computer science to the field of molecular biology. The program provides competence in computational biology/bioinformatics by providing training in the areas of molecular biology, information technology, statistics and bioinformatics. The program also offers hands-on expertise in the essential multi-disciplinary fields of genomics, proteomics, protein engineering, metabolic pathway engineering, pharmacogenomics, the discovery of new drugs and vaccines, molecular diagnostic kits, Agro-biotechnology that comprise the core of Bioinformatics.
Eligibility
Aspiring students should have a B.E./B.Tech. in CS/IT/Biotech/Bioinformatics or Master’s drgree in Programming/Maths/Sciences.
