Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is a doctorate program. Dravyaguna involves an advanced study of medicinal herbs and drugs, their origin, nature, properties, and effects upon human beings. It finds its parallel in the modern science of pharmacology. It’s the science of herbal plants.The discipline comprises pharmacognosy, pharmacology, and therapeutic uses of the plants. Ayurvedic drugs, especially herbs, are prescribed across different pharmaceutical forms, to produce maximum therapeutic effect.
Eligibility
The students who have completed masters degree course in Ayurveda in relevant subject from a recognized university are eligible.
