Course
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery is an ayurvedic graduate program in SDM College of Ayurveda & Hospital Udupi . The program produces competent ayurvedic doctors to treat and heal patients using therapeutic herbs, oil massages and special dietary control. SDM College of Ayurveda & Hospital Udupi is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) Bangalore. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) syllabus covers theory and practical in Ayurvedic Philosophy, Ayurvedic History, Anatomy, Physiology, Toxicology, General Surgery & Para Surgical Techniques, Panchkarma and one-year internship training. Upon graduation, SDM College of Ayurveda & Hospital students can work in hospitals, ayurvedic clinics, resorts, medical colleges and universities as Ayurvedic Vaidhyan, Ayurvedic Doctor, Public Health Specialist, Assistant Professor, Researcher.
