B.A Hindi is an undergraduate course for three years and imparted within six semesters and offered under Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam. The study encompasses learning the history of Hindi literature,communication skills, contemporary Hindi literature, etc. Students can study this study by completing their plus two or equivalent course from any recognized board. The Mahatma Gandhi University shall possess a curriculum with topics such as communication skills, Reading literature, Critical reasoning, writing and presentation Reading on Indian constitutions,secularism, and sustainable environment, Communications skills in other languages Translation and communication in Hindi, Prose and one-act plays Translation theory and practice, History of Hindi literature (Adikal and Madhyakal), History of Hindi literature (Adhunik Kal- Gadya), Hindi literature in Kerala Literature of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam ( Hindi translation), Literature and contemporary issues, History, and philosophy of science, Literature in other languages Culture and civilization, General informatics and computer application in Hindi,Drama, and theatre in Hindi,Applied grammar,Perspectives of humanities and languages and methodology, History of Hindi literature (Adhunik Kal- pada), Correspondence and secretarial practice in Hindi, Comparative literature Environmental studies, Linguistics, Modern poetry in Hindi,Contemporary Hindi literature, History of Hindi language, Indian literary thoughts, Novel and short stories in Hindi, Poetry (Ancient and Medical); Prosody and Poetics Western academic thoughts, Open course spoken Hindi/ business/ Interpretation Elective course Journalism and Mass communication/ Folk literature/Radio broadcasting Project - literary translation and Project - literary translation. Candidates can attain different job profiles after completing this study. They can be teachers, customer care executives, Hindi content writers, Journalists, Hindi tele-caller, reporters, translators, and so on.
