Course
MD Anaesthesiology is a post-graduate program of Medicine offered at Government Kilpauk Medical College Kilpauk. It is the branch of medicine dealing with minimizing pain and administering anesthesia during surgery and other medical procedures. The students administer anesthesia medicine and closely monitor the patient. Government Kilpauk Medical College is affiliated to Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University syllabus covers theory & practical in ambulatory anesthesia, cardio thoracic anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology, neuron anesthesia, obstetrical anesthesiology and pain management. After graduation, the students can work in the anesthesia department of different hospitals, clinics or teach in medical colleges or universities.
