Course
MD Radiodiagnosis is a three-year postgraduate program in medicine by Father Muller Medical College Mangalore. The course aims to create competent doctors to practice, teach and research in the area of radiology diagnosis using ultrasound, computed tomography and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). Father Muller Medical College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bengaluru. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences curriculum covers subjects including Basic Sciences, Radiation Physics, Radiological Anatomy, Radiography and Contrast Media, Respiratory System, Cardiovascular System, Gastro-Intestinal Tract, Hepatobiliary System, Genito Urinary Tracts and Endocrine System, Skeletal System, Skull and Central Nervous System, Obstetrics and Gynaecological imaging, ENT, Eyes, Dental, Jaw and Soft tissues, Nuclear Medicine, PET, SPECT and Recent advances. After graduating, the students can enter the academics field, do research or work in hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, laboratories as radiologists, diagnostic radiologists, radiology residents, radiodiagnosis consultants.
