Course:
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) MLT (Medical Laboratory Technology) is an UG Programme offered by Co-Operative Institute of Health Sciences Thalassery. B. Sc MLT is a three-year degree course focuses on testing, diagnosing, analysing body fluids in the laboratory environment for the proper assessment of the medical condition of the patient. It aid doctors’ in deciding the medication and the next medical procedure of the patient. Co-Operative Institute of Health Sciences Thalassery is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Science (KUHS). The candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent in science stream. Kerala University of Health Science (KUHS) the curriculum is designed to cover subjects including Human Physiology and anatomy, medical biochemistry, medical microbiology, computer application in lab, histopathology, haematology, bacteriology, immunology, mycology and virology. The course completed Co-Operative Institute of Health Sciences Thalassery students can pursue their career has lab technician, lab manager, professor, biochemist, medical phlebotomist etc.

Eligibility:
- Pass in Plus Two With Science subjects with at least 50% marks in the Optional Subjects, Viz Chemistry, Physics, Biology or any other qualification recognised as equivalent thereto by the Kerala University of Health Science
