Course:
Master of Science (M.Sc.) Child Health Nursing is a PG Programme. Master of Science (M.Sc.) Child Health Nursing course offered by Chettinad College of Nursing Chennai . Master of Science M.Sc. Child Health Nursing is a two-year postgraduate course specialising in child care. It starts from neonatal care to teenage. They are also given training in taking care of premature babies, and they follow a family-centre approach.
Duration: 2 years
Eligibility:
The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife of equivalence with any State Nursing Registration Council.
The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc.Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with not less than of 55% aggregate marks from an institution that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
5% relaxation of marks for SC/ ST candidates.
Minimum one year of Work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
Minimum one year of Work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
The candidate shall be medically fit.
Eligibility Certificate: Candidates, who have passed any qualifying examination from any other University, shall obtain an Eligibility Certificate, from Chettinad Academy of Research and Education and produce the same at the time of admission and also remit recognition fee as prescribed.
