About Us
The Bapatla Engineering College(Autonomous), one of the seven educational institutions sponsored by the Bapatla Education Society, was established in 1981 with a vision to impart quality technical education and is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University. The College is a little away from the din and bustle of Bapatla, a town with a historic and hoary past, about 75 Km. south of Vijayawada on Chennai-Vijayawada rail route. The college offers B.Tech. Programmes in 9 branches of Engineering- Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, CSE(Cyber Security), CSE(Data Science), CSE(AIML), Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. CE, CSE, ME & EEE Programmes NBA accredited FOUR times. ECE programme NBA accrediated THREE times. IT programme NBA accrediated ONCE.

Principal's Desk
The college is grateful to the commitment of the management. The management members are imbued with a spirit of selfless service and believe in the principle of Academic autonomy. Transparency of all financial transactions is strictly adhered and all payments and receipts are through DD’s and Cheques only. The Management obtains objective feedback about all aspects of the college and suitably advises and motivates employees in a discrete manner. The constructional works are personally supervised by the management not entrusted to contractors. Good quality materials are negotiated at best price personally by the management. College buildings are constructed by the management at about 50% of the cost of the approved Scheduled Rates (SR) of the State Govt. without compromising the quality. As a mark of commitment to good management, rules and regulations are applied with justice and fair play. Above all the management makes all out effort to provide healthy environment on the campus. (Lawns, Greenery (Including 1000 neem trees) and CC roads provided.

The Training & Placement Cell is committed to provide all possible assistance to the graduate and post-graduate students to secure employment in multi-national companies and other reputed organizations and industries. The Training & Placement Cell extends its services round the year and facilitates to establish contacts between companies and students. This Cell helps the students to improve skills in related fields (soft skills, resume preparation, practice for interviews, etc) and career guidance. Frequently this cell conducts number of mock tests to improve the performance in written examinations. The aim is to ensure that students have the information and skills necessary for an effective job search. Apart from handling the needs of the students, the office caters to the needs of the companies ranging from logistics to interview halls.
