Course
MA Sociology teaches students on an advanced level about the society, its elements, and the various interactions and functionalities. This course helps a student understand the nuances of human society. It helps develop an understanding of how human society originated and its various evolutionary stages. An MA in Sociology prepares individuals with a better understanding of the frameworks of societies and communities around the world, thus making them adept at understanding how organizations work in the contemporary setting.Studying MA Sociology prepares students with written and oral communication skills. They gain the ability to understand complex ideas and apply them to practical problems. They understand the sensitivity of the different ills in society and gain a disposition towards the culture.

Eligibility
- Graduation degree in any stream
- Students with Arts and Humanities stream have, however, an advantage
- Minimum pass percentage required varies from 45% to 50%
