Chairman's Message
Tina Ambani
In January 2009, we began a life-affirming journey with the opening of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute in Mumbai. A tribute by Anil and I to my father-in-law Dhirubhai Ambani, and dedicated to my mother-in-law Kokilaben, our intent was to make comprehensive and world-class healthcare available, accessible and affordable to Indians; bridge the gaps in the existing healthcare fabric; and empower patients and their families to make informed medical choices.
Over the years, our 15 centres of excellence, 27 other speciality departments and 22 super specialist clinics have consistently raised the bar in terms of diagnostics and treatment and delivered world-class outcomes, benchmarked to the finest medical institutions in the world.
Powering this growth has been the finest medical talent—available round the clock owing to our full-time specialist system. Intrinsic to this team are the nurses, the backbone of our hospital. These silent saviours work diligently, tirelessly, with complete commitment and single-minded dedication to every single patient. This is true not just for KDAH but every medical institution.
Undoubtedly, nursing is among the most noble of callings. It is both a science and an art, a profession that demands concern and care, compassion and complete immersion. At KDA Nursing College, with the help of our accomplished and talented faculty, we seek to create an enabling environment of learning and caring that instils these values and inspires the next generation of nursing professionals, while imparting the skills and expertise that will hold them in excellent stead throughout their careers.

Canteen
A well furnished fully air conditioned canteen is located at Kokilaben Hospital Mezzanine floor which is open from 8.00 a.m to 8.00 p.m through out the week which provide tasty and delicious food at subsidized rate at the students, faculty members and other staff.
Library (Learning Resource Center)K D A Nursing College Library and Learning resource center is an invaluable resource for students, researchers and faculties of Nursing education. It has the most complete collection of text & reference books, audio-video material, films, charts, professional journal and Magazines. It is a most lively place in the college providing a comfortable and readers friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes scholarship.
The fully air-conditioned and wi-fi enabled library and learning resource center is spread over 3000 sq. ft provides access to the best of Nursing related resources through its acquisition of various books ,Journals, online databases consisting of scholarly and Nursing education and service related content. The learning resource center is coordinating point between the faculty and students which is supported by highly skilled and trained library and information Professionals.
Lecture TheaterKDA Nursing College has total four spacious well furnished, air conditioned and sound proof class rooms with facility of wall mounted LCD projectors, which help in making the live and inspiring learning environment for the students.
HostelA specious 224 bedded hostel for students is located at Mahadev Apartment, Thakur Village, Kandivali (E), approximately 13 kms away from the KDA Nursing College. The hostel is supervised and managed by well qualified and experienced Warden Mrs. Aruna Khedkar. A safe and comfortable stay with adequate facilities of kitchen and dining, communication room with internet facility, telephone, fax, zerox along with first aids room and a room for visitors. Here the students can keep themselves abreast with the events happening around the world. Hostels also have a separate Study room and a lobby. The hostel also has lobby servants to cater the small needs of the students along with round the clock security.
Each student is accommodated in a room on a sharing basis. The hostels are allotted on the basis of first come first basis. Newspapers and magazines are provided to the students on demand. The College also have 52 seater specious bus facility for transportation.
