Alumni
The Alumni Association of EWIT maintains and enhances a highly engaged vibrant community of alumni and friends worldwide. The latter was formed on 23rd February 2007. EWIT Alumni Association approximately has more than 20000 alumni. The purpose of the EWITAA is to promote the welfare of EWIT and to establish a mutually beneficial relationship between EWIT and its alumni. The EWITAA also plays a critical role in fostering alumni-to-alumni connections opportunities. EWIT Alumni contribute their time, energy and expertise to help EWIT fraternity grow, develop and prosper.
Research
EWIT has established R & D centers at the institution level for fostering Innovation & Research among the students and faculty members. The Research Center involves in identifying new research areas, developing projects leading to publications in National and International Journals and conferences. The research center helps in developing co-operative and complimentary research among various departments under EWIT to explore advanced technologies. The Centre also guides and facilitates in writing of scientific research papers leading to publication and project proposals as well as in identifying the research outcomes of research for filing patents.
Faculty members who are very passionate about teaching and research are also involved in a number of research projects independently and in collaboration with industry and other renowned research organizations. All the departments have been recognized as VTU research centers. All the faculty members are actively involved in interdisciplinary research activities. Institution has provided an excellent opportunity to redesign, create or introduce new innovations in the curriculum. Many basic research projects have laid the foundation for strengthening knowledge that lead to applications over a period of time.
Placement
East West Institute of technology has a best placement desk to facilitate the placements for all students. The Training & Placement Department strongly believes in engineering young minds to be disciplined, dedicated and determined so that in future they will confidently, capably and undoubtedly steer organizations towards growth, prosperity and excellence dynamically. East West Institute of technology is one of the very few colleges where the concept of Training has been implemented and proved successful.
The Placement Cell is strongly working to empower students with various qualities and skills to achieve professional and personal excellence. The Training & Placement Cell is playing a major role in transforming the students to the expectations of the industry. All the students are informed about the necessity of maintaining good academic scores and are motivated regularly to achieve the top rankings in the curriculum.
Training programs and industry related seminars are routine and the students are exposed to these kinds of programs from the very first day they step into the college. These programs along with mock tests, both offline and online, have been made mandatory and evaluation procedures are followed which are in line with those required by the corporate world. They are being prepared to be the best individuals with logical and analytical skills and with excellent practical knowledge.
