Principal Profile: Dr. N.M. Biradar obtained his Bachelor Degree B.E in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Rural Engineering College Bhalki , Gulbarga University, September 1998. Master’s degree M.Tech. from Sri Jaya Chamarajendra College of Engineering of (SJCE), MYSORE-VTU, BELAGAVI in 2003 and his Ph.D., from Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian institute of Technology Roorkee in 2015
• Research Experience: Guiding for seven Ph.D Research Scholars of Vishveswaraya Technological University (VTU). •
Received Grants worth Rs. 46.5 Lakhs from Dept. of IT and BT, GoK for design of software for assessment of Valvular Regurgitation. Received Grants worth Rs. 40 Lakhs from VGST under KFIST-II, GoK for FPGA implementation of tools for assessment of Valvular Regurgitation.
Recognized Reviewer for Computers in Biology and Medicine, and Computers and Electrical Engineering, Elsevier Journals. Professional Presentations Published papers in Journals indexed in Web of Science, Scopus and SCI Journals of Elsevier. Also presented papers in National and International conferences. Delivered Key Note addresses at various conferences and also worked as adviser, reviewer, chair and co-chair for various conferences. Our college established in 1982 spread over 35 acre of land is running 5 BE courses and 5 PG courses - M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engg, M.Tech. in Digital Communication & Networking, M.Tech. in Water Resources Mgmt, M.Tech. in Geotechnical Engg & MCA, This college is one of the best engineering colleges not only in Karnataka but in whole of India itself. It has got all the characteristics of a Regional Engineering College where about 50% students are from Karnataka and the rest 50% are from other States of India viz. Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Manipur, West Bengal, Delhi, UP, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Maharashtra etc.
It has got much more infrastructure and other facilities than required by AICTE and the University like builtup area of 50000 m2, 165 Teaching staff, 190 Non Teaching staff, 65000 books in the Library with more than 1500 e-subscribed and print journals, 03 boys hostels, 02 girls hostels, Class rooms, well equipped laboratories, T&P Cell, EDP Cell, Post Office, Bank, Language Lab, vast sports ground and Wi-Fi campus.
Till date more than 8200 students have passed from our college and are well placed in Govt. and private sector organisations in India and abroad with the help of our active T&P Cell and all are doing very well. Our college does not accept any donation/ capitation fee. There is complete transparency in admission. For meritorious students scoring more than 75% marks and above fee concession / scholarship is provided under Management Quota. Similarly top rankers of Karnataka CET and JEE(Main) also get fee concession /scholarship upto 100% amount.
With whole hearted full cooperation of the Management, faculty and other staff, all the students, parents, alumni, the State Government, the Central Government. VTU, JEE(Main) and the general society, this college is striving to be one of the best in the country by achieving its mission through its vision fulfilling all the objectives and hence goals in the years to come.
