Professor Dr. Mutahar RK currently serves as the Principal, Professor, and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics at Aadya College of Pharmacy in Chitradurga. Before joining Aadya College on January 1, 2025, with a mission to empower local youth with world-class education, he built a reputation as a leader and mentor at various institutions. His prior roles include serving as Principal at Bharat Institute of Technology in Hyderabad and D.R. Karigowda College of Pharmacy. Specializing in novel drug delivery systems within Pharmaceutics, Dr. Mutahar is a prolific researcher with publications on topics such as effervescent tablets and controlled-release formulations. He has also served as an IQAC Coordinator, committed to ensuring academic excellence and institutional improvement. Through his extensive experience in both teaching and research, he aims to transform Chitradurga into a hub for pharmaceutical excellence.

Principal's Message
I am Prof. Dr. Mutahar RK, Principal of Aadya College of Pharmacy, Chitradurga, with 26 years of diverse experience in teaching, research, administration, and marketing in the pharmaceutical sector. I have served as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, and Principal in PCI-approved colleges across Bangalore and Hyderabad. Additionally, I have contributed to R&D at Jagadale Group, international pharmaceutical marketing, and held leadership roles as a Director in pharmaceutical companies. Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to mentoring and shaping the next generation of pharmacists, guiding B. Pharm graduates, M. Pharm postgraduates, and Ph.D. scholars toward academic and professional excellence. My contributions to the field include research publications, patents, books, and book chapters. As an IQAC Coordinator, I have played a pivotal role in ensuring academic excellence and continuous institutional improvement. Returning to my hometown, Chitradurga, on January 1, 2025, my sole mission is to empower the youth of our district by providing world-class pharmaceutical education.
