Welcome to PES&T’s Shaikh Group of Institutions, an organization committed to cater to the varied educational needs of discerning citizens. PES&T stresses on quality education based on values and supported by immense expertise, modern infrastructure, personal interaction and empathy. A journey of thousand miles, begins with a single step. The People’s Education Society and Trust’s journey started in 1967, with the establishment of A.M.Shaikh Homeopathic Medical College at Belgaum by the late Dr. A.M.Shaikh. PES & T’s main objective is to provide ‘Quality Education’ in professional courses to our youth. It is a matter of great pride that the trust now boasts of 7 institutions which provide educational opportunities to students ranging from Nursery to Post graduate level in a variety of streams ranging from medicines to Management.

This Society & Trust has laid a robust foundation – dedicated to the field of education over the past many decades and looks forward to a glorious future in the years to come – based on : “QUALITY EDUCATION – DELIVERED PROFESSIONALLY” PES & T was established in 1967 by our dynamic founder, late Dr. A. M. Shaikh, an IAS officer who retired as the Deputy Commissioner of Belgaum. A great scholar, an outstanding administrator, and an ardent Homoeopath, he belonged to a generation that “dared to dream”. His vision was transformed into reality in 1967 with the establishment of A. M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College, which has the distinction of: a) Being the 1st Homoeopathic Medical College in the state of Karnataka and b) Being the “first ever college” in India to be awarded ISO Certification in 1996. Dr. A. M. Shaikh has left us a rich legacy of quality education, dedication & philanthropy. Notable amongst them being – Quality treatment provided to many needy patients at reasonable rate at A. M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Hospital and providing an opportunity for students from different sections of society to pursue the study in the field of Homoeopathic Medicine. Dr. A M Shaikh’ s service to humanity as a pioneering homoeopath has benefitted thousands of people belonging to all strata of society.
